Significant investment has been committed to accelerating growth, creating a compelling opportunity for an experienced insurance leader to play a key role in shaping the next phase of the journey.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth, taking ownership of a high-performing insurance sales operation while helping influence strategy, enhance customer outcomes and drive the continued evolution of the insurance proposition.

The Opportunity

As Insurance Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of insurance professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You'll create a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement, ensuring both commercial and customer objectives are consistently achieved.
This is a broad leadership role that combines people management, technical insurance expertise and commercial leadership. You'll be empowered to challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and play a key role in delivering the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of insurance sales professionals, creating a culture built around accountability, customer excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Deliver against ambitious sales, customer and quality objectives through effective leadership and disciplined execution.

  • Drive improvements in productivity, conversion and operational performance through the effective use of data, MI and insight.

  • Act as a technical referral point, supporting complex insurance enquiries and placement scenarios.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurer partners and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure all activity is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and Consumer Duty principles.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, processes and ways of working.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the insurance proposition, helping shape future strategy and capability.

  • Develop future leaders and build a highly engaged, motivated and professional team.

About You

We're keen to speak with ambitious insurance leaders who combine strong technical capability with a genuine passion for sales, coaching and people development.
You'll likely be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong background within the insurance sector, ideally within commercial insurance.

  • Previous experience leading high-performing sales, contact centre or trading teams.

  • A proven track record of delivering growth and driving performance improvements.

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, markets and insurer relationships.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A highly commercial and data-led approach to decision making.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where change and growth are constant.

  • Resilience, adaptability and the credibility to lead from the front.

Professional qualifications such as Cert CII would be advantageous but are not essential.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to join a business making significant investment in insurance and committed to long-term growth.

  • Genuine opportunity to influence strategy and shape the future direction of the proposition.

  • High-growth, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.

  • Strong career progression opportunities as the business continues to scale.

  • Attractive package including a £64,000 basic salary, lucrative performance-related bonus and comprehensive benefits.

  • The chance to play a key role in building one of the UK's most exciting insurance growth stories.
