HR Consultant - #2099230
MLC Partners
HR Consultant
Fully Remote | Permanent | £50,000–£60,000 + Benefits
Are you a naturally curious consultant who enjoys solving complex people challenges?
We're working exclusively with a growing specialist consultancy that partners with public sector, healthcare and charitable organisations to help resolve sensitive workplace issues, improve organisational culture and deliver meaningful people-focused projects. Their work spans complex investigations, cultural reviews, mediation, organisational development and strategic HR consultancy.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an HR Consultant to join their highly experienced team.
The Opportunity
This is a genuinely varied consultancy role where no two projects are the same. You'll work directly with clients, gathering evidence, interviewing stakeholders, analysing information and producing high-quality reports and recommendations that help organisations move forward.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider consultancy projects focused on organisational culture, employee wellbeing, leadership and people practices.
While an interest in HR and workplace investigations is important, we're not looking for someone with decades of HR experience. If you've developed strong consulting, analytical or investigative skills in another professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support independent workplace investigations and reviews.
- Interview employees and senior stakeholders with professionalism and empathy.
- Analyse complex information and produce clear, evidence-based reports.
- Build trusted relationships with clients across a range of sectors.
- Support organisational development, culture and people improvement projects.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with an experienced team of consultants.
About you
You'll be someone who enjoys understanding complex situations and presenting balanced, practical solutions.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in consultancy, investigations, employee relations, organisational development or a similar advisory role.
- Excellent interviewing, communication and report-writing skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
- The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- A professional, balanced and objective approach.
Extensive HR experience isn't essential. We welcome applications from professionals with transferable consulting or investigative experience who are keen to develop within this specialist field.
- £50,000–£60,000 salary
- Fully remote working
- Permanent, full-time position
- A collaborative and supportive team environment
- Interesting, meaningful project work with genuine variety
- Ongoing professional development and opportunities to build specialist expertise within a respected consultancy
If you're looking for a role where your analytical skills, professionalism and ability to influence outcomes can make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
