The Role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to take ownership of a key London & East London territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing sales role focused on winning new business and growing existing accounts across a well-established product range within the construction and industrial sector.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with contractors, merchants, distributors, and end users, identifying project opportunities and converting them into profitable sales.

This is a highly autonomous role where success is driven by your ability to build relationships, manage your territory effectively, and close business consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business across London & East London
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, merchants, and distributors
  • Deliver product presentations and on-site demonstrations
  • Follow up project leads and convert opportunities into sales
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting
  • Represent the business at client meetings and site visits
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proven in a B2B sales or business development role
  • Confident in a field-based, autonomous environment
  • Strong at relationship building and closing deals
  • Ideally experienced in construction, industrial, or technical sales (not essential)
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Organised with strong territory management skills
  • Holds a full UK driving licence (essential)
