Role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor (or Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive) to join a busy and growing property team. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, delivering an efficient, high-quality service to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious conveyancer to join a supportive firm with strong workflow, administrative support, and opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters (Freehold and leasehold, Sales & Purchases, Re-Mortgages, Transfers of equity, New build transactions)
• Handle matters from instruction through to post-completion
• Conduct property title checks, searches, and review contracts
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
• Ensure all transactions are progressed efficiently and in line with SLA targets
• Maintain high standards of client care and communication throughout the process
• Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and AML requirements
• Work collaboratively with support staff and legal assistants
• Identify and resolve legal or transactional issues quickly and effectively

Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (CILEX)
• Proven experience handling residential conveyancing caseloads independently
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
