Retail Media Analyst

Hybrid/Remote (London)- (2-3 times a month on site)

3 month contract

£500-£550 a day (Inside IR35)

We're supporting a leading organisation in their search for a Retail Media Analyst to join a growing analytics function. This role will play a key part in helping the business understand, measure and optimise the performance of its retail media and marketing activity across multiple customer touchpoints.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong retail media analytics experience who enjoys turning complex data into actionable commercial insights. Rather than producing standard reports, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand campaign effectiveness, advise on measurement approaches, and help shape future media investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of retail media and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Deliver meaningful insights and recommendations to commercial, marketing and digital teams.
  • Help define and improve campaign measurement frameworks and performance KPIs.
  • Consult with stakeholders on channel performance, campaign activity and optimisation opportunities.
  • Analyse customer and digital performance data to identify trends and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Present analytical findings in a clear and actionable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a Retail Media Analytics role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Experience measuring campaign and channel performance rather than purely reporting on results.
  • Experience using Python and/or R for analysis.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, BigQuery, and digital performance metrics.
  • Understanding of customer analytics and campaign effectiveness measurement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence commercial decision-making.
The Ideal Candidate

You'll be a commercially minded analyst with a passion for retail media, campaign measurement and customer analytics. You'll be comfortable partnering with stakeholders, challenging assumptions, and providing data-led recommendations that drive better business outcomes.

If you have a strong background in retail media analytics, advanced SQL skills, and experience working in Databricks, we'd be keen to hear from you.
