Hybrid, 3 days per week in the London office, flexible on which days.

A pivotal role managing the end to end process of prestigious government events portfolio, including national conferences with 10,000+ attendees!

The Company

This is a British media and events business with a long-established reputation in government and public policy. Events span conferences, awards, exhibitions, roundtables and roadshows, with a client base rooted in central government and public sector organisations. The team is small, collaborative and experienced, and the Event Project Manager who joins will find that good ideas travel quickly and people tend to stay.

The Role

As Event Project Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of a high-profile portfolio of government and public sector conferences, leading delivery from concept through to post-event evaluation.

- Lead full project lifecycle across conferences, awards and public sector events

- Manage budgets, suppliers and partner relationships, maintaining financial control

- Oversee speaker management, programme delivery and delegate registration

- Chair client meetings and act as senior point of contact for stakeholders

- Produce post-event analysis and report against KPIs

- Mentor and support junior team members across live events

The Candidate

The right person for this Event Project Manager role will be a confident, delivery-focused professional with a track record in conference management. You will be equally at ease in a client meeting and on-site at a large-scale conference.

- Proven experience managing multi-workstream conference portfolios end to end

- Strong budget management and supplier coordination skills

- Confident operating at senior stakeholder level
