Japanese Corporate Rates Sales AVP - 12 Month Contract - #2110462

We're looking for an AVP to join a Rates & Derivatives sales desk in London, focused on Japanese corporate clients across Europe. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering a period of leave, offering broad exposure to client coverage, deal execution, and cross-product collaboration.

What you'll be doing:

1. Building and managing relationships with Japanese corporate clients, treasurers, and advisors across the region
2. Discussing interest rate and FX hedging strategies and putting together trade ideas
3. Working with pricing and trading teams to structure and execute derivative trades
4. Supporting credit applications and helping negotiate legal documentation for new trading relationships
5. Keeping on top of KYC and regulatory requirements relevant to the desk

What you'll need:

1. Fluent Japanese and English, spoken and written
2. A background in derivatives, structured products, or rates/credit sales (FX and commodities also considered)
3. Comfortable covering a range of client types, including corporates, sponsors, or infrastructure clients
4. Based in the UK, or able to work from the UK without needing visa sponsorship
