About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Investment Manager – Private Equity to join our client's London-based investment team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in originating, executing, and managing private equity investments across a diversified portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 6–9 years of relevant experience within private equity, investment banking, or a related field, and a strong track record of evaluating and executing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead evaluation and execution of private equity investments, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, and structuring
  2. Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities and portfolio performance
  3. Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
  4. Actively monitor portfolio companies, including performance analysis, value creation initiatives, and exit planning
  5. Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, management teams, and co-investors
  6. Identify and support operational and strategic improvements within portfolio companies
Key Requirements
  1. 6–9 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
  2. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comparable analysis)
  3. Demonstrated experience in executing M&A or private equity transactions
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  5. Commercial mindset with the ability to assess strategic and operational drivers of value
  6. Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or CFA is a plus)
