Cashier - Luxury Retail (Gold) - #2113312

Our client, a well-established Luxury Retail Brokerage (specialising in physical precious metals/bullion), are looking to recruit an experienced Cashier to join their small, friendly team. Based in a fantastic central London location with amazing working hours (Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client are a global outfit with a strong presence across Europe, and specialise in the buying/selling/storage of incredibly high-value metal/bullion. Due to their continued success, they are looking for an additional candidate to join their team of 4 FTE, acting as the first point of contact for high-net-worth clients in-store. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Handling client queries in person (on average, 30+ daily conversations)
- Performing cashier and counter duties - processing high-value cash/card/bank transfer transactions with accuracy/efficiency
- Processing online orders - ensuring accurate pricing/order validation
- Coordinating order fulfilment and distribution - preparing metals/bullion for client collection/secure delivery
- Verifying, counting and reconciling cash on a daily basis
- Performing customer due diligence (CDD) in line with regulations
- Maintaining strict adherence to security protocols for handling physical metals/high-value assets
- Offering an exceptional service to all customers!

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Experience of working in a Cashier capacity - preferably within Luxury Retail/Money Exchange/Financial services (Banks)
- Experience of dealing with high-net-worth clients, with the confidence to handle significant transaction values
- Experience of processing online orders/payments
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Warm/friendly communication style (with the ability to build rapport with others)

In addition to a very competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, our client are also offering the following:

- Annual bonus of up to 20%
- Amazing working hours: Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.30pm
- 25 days' annual leave (+ Bank Holidays)
