SAP Finance Manager - Global Asset Management Firm - £80,000 - £100,000 Bonus Full Benefits - London with hybrid working - #2114666

Our client is a highly-successful and established global asset manager with a collaborative and positive working culture. Their London office is now looking to hire an experienced SAP Finance Manager to join their dynamic Finance team to support the following applications: S4Hana Cloud, SAP Analytical Cloud (including Planning), SAP Group Reporting and Concur. Working closely with the global Finance team, the successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing the firm’s SAP systems and processes to enhance overall business efficiency and will assume certain controllership functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP modules, configuration, and integration.

Our client is looking for an individual who has dealt with the quarterly SAP upgrades or refreshes, instead of just being a user of SAP, with Public Cloud experience being essential. The firm would like to hire an in-house and 'go-to' individual to be able to help users (finance and business) use SAP and help them with basic / moderately complex ticket items (for more complex issues, there is an external 3rd party consultancy that can help deal with these). The role will involve performing SAP system configuration and customization to meet business requirements with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot SAP-related issues, providing timely resolutions

Responsibilities / Tasks:

1. Provide expertise in SAP modules including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), Group Reporting and SAP analytics.
2. Perform SAP system configuration and customization to meet business requirements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions.
4. Analyze and troubleshoot SAP-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
5. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
6. Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
7. Stay updated on SAP advancements and industry best practices to recommend process improvements.
8. Prepare and present financial presentations for senior management and other stakeholders that drive business decisions as well as, where applicable, partner with front office businesses, or functional areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or controls.
9. Provide controllership support as needed.

Skills, experience and knowledge required:

1. Ideally a minimum 4-5 years of experience as a SAP specialist (S/4HANA CLOUD), with a focus on SAP Group reporting, SAP FICO, SAC Cloud and SAP Concur.
2. SAP certification is preferred but not a ‘must-have’.
3. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
4. Proficient in SAP configuration, implementation, and support.
5. Strong understanding of SAP integration with other systems and applications.
6. Strong understanding of Financial Reporting and Consolidations
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
