We are seeking a commercially minded Sales Operations Manager to act as the key link between our business, global distributor network, and remote sales agents. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate forecasting, coordinating demand with production and procurement, and building strong relationships with distributors to support efficient manufacturing and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with global distributors as their primary day-to-day contact.
Monitor distributor stock levels and analyse forecasts, sales trends, and customer feedback to anticipate demand.
Consolidate and validate information from remote sales agents to support forecasting, CRM accuracy, and production planning.
Maintain accurate CRM records for distributor activity, forecasts, and customer interactions.
Translate demand forecasts into manufacturing requirements, working closely with procurement and production.
Identify and communicate supply risks, stock shortages, or changes in demand.
Collaborate across sales, procurement, production, and senior management to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered.
Manage customer expectations professionally, including with senior stakeholders.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Drive coordination across the business to ensure distributor requirements are delivered efficiently.
Skills & Experience
Experience in sales operations, demand planning, distributor management, or production coordination within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
Proficient in CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with international distributors and senior customers.
Commercially aware, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, small business environment.
Willingness to travel for trade exhibitions and company events.
