Procurement Manager - #2118155

Oliver James is searching on behalf of a leading Lloyd's insurance client to source a Procurement Manager to join the business to assist in the design, build out, and implementation of a global procurement function.

This role will work closely with the Head of Procurement to contribute to strategic vendor & commercial management, category & commercial strategy, procurement capability build and stakeholder engagement.

The role will have a strong focus on technology and data categories due to the large spend area.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the following

- Working on technology and data categories

- Experience working within Insurance companies or complex regulated financial services

- Experience in global procurement functions

- Preferable for experience in greenfield projects

- Diverse experience across multiple areas including vendor management, sourcing, contract renewal / negotiation and procurement capability build.

- CIPS qualifications preferred but not required

This role is based in London and will require in-office working 4 days a week.
