Location: Central London (3 Days in the Office / 2 Days from Home)
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent | Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to join the HR team within a leading law firm.
Working closely with the wider HR function, you'll provide day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR administration is delivered accurately, efficiently and with a high level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate pre-employment checks, onboarding and new starter inductions.
- Manage employee administration, including probation reviews, changes to terms and payroll support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, producing reports where required.
- Coordinate leaver processes and exit meetings.
- Respond to HR queries and maintain the HR administration inbox.
- Prepare confidential documentation and support performance and salary review processes.
- Assist with benefits administration, HR projects and general team activities.
- Previous HR administration experience is essential.
- Experience of working within a law firm is desirable.
- Professional services experience would be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
