We are recruiting for a temporary Learning Programme Officer for a high-profile social welfare charity, you will be helping to develop, deliver and evaluate a range of educational content, resources and events for the Teaching Learning Programme, which seeks to educate and engage young people (up to the age of 18) across the UK.

Hybrid working, Min 2 days in the office Wednesday is essential and a Current Enhanced DBS is essential.

The Role:
Plan and produce inspiring, relevant and engaging educational content (e.g. assemblies, lessons) which reflect diverse audiences .
Alongside the Learning Programme Manager, brief and commission educational materials with external partners to agreed objectives.
Work with Digital team to write, edit and manage content within the Teaching webpage.
Manage digital resource library including upload, and ensure resources are accessible on the Teaching webpage and other associated (external partner) webpages.
Research ways of improving the webpage, films collection and resources by reviewing existing activities to determine gaps and potential development areas in e-learning provision.
Support in commissioning audience surveys and generating reports with Learning Programme manager.
Work with colleagues across the organisation (Brand, Digital) to ensure that the appropriate marketing and communications plans are in place.
Write and produce promotional materials including posters and digital marketing assets
Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure against the learning budget and ensure agreed targets and performance indicators are met.


The Candidate:
Knowledge of the National Curriculum, the Curriculum for Wales framework and the UK education system, from a school or relevant education sector role
Proven project management skillset - ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Proven experience of taking ideas from concept to finished product.
Relationship management experience and skills, including the ability to represent the organisation effectively to a wide range of external stakeholders, including ability to engage with children and young people.
Experience and knowledge of monitoring financial budgets, processing payments and maintaining accurate expenditure detail.
Experience with IT packages including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), content management systems and relevant social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube).
