Description

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to move into a knowledge-focused role with a growing legal technology and intelligence business. Working as part of an established team of legal experts, editors and specialist contributors, you will play a central role in developing premium legal content and supporting the expansion of a new commercial law offering.

The position would suit a lawyer seeking a career beyond fee earning while remaining closely connected to legal developments, industry trends and technical legal analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Research, draft, review and maintain high-quality commercial law content.
  • Develop practical guidance, precedents, legal updates and commentary.
  • Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to subscribers.
  • Collaborate with legal specialists, knowledge lawyers and editorial teams.
  • Support customer engagement by responding to content-related queries.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the knowledge platform.
  • Work alongside product and development teams to improve content delivery and user experience.


Profile

Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE.
  • Strong commercial law expertise gained in private practice, chambers or a comparable environment.
  • Experience in either:
    • Commercial litigation and/or international arbitration; or
    • Non-contentious commercial transactions.
  • Exceptional legal drafting and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
  • Genuine interest in knowledge management, legal publishing or legal intelligence.
