Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships - #2119764
The Guardian
London Cycling Campaign is looking for an experienced and relationship-led fundraising professional to help us build the long-term support we need to make cycling in London safe everywhere and fun for everyone.
LCC’s Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships is a senior role with the opportunity to shape strategy and grow LCC’s income. You will primarily focus on major donors in LCC’s Patron Network. You will also lead on fundraising with corporate partners, trusts and foundations. You will work closely with, and be supported by, the CEO to bring in an annual income target of £475,000.
Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team, trustees, staff and volunteers, you will develop compelling cases for support, build strong pipelines of prospects and deepen relationships with current and future donors. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on relationship management, using insight, evidence and excellent stewardship to secure sustainable income and meaningful partnerships.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in high-value fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships or business development, and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders externally and internally. You will be a persuasive communicator, a collaborative colleague and a proactive relationship-builder who can turn LCC’s mission and impact into attractive opportunities for funders and partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a visible role in a small but growing, ambitious charity with a strong track record of achieving impact across London. You do not need to be a cycling expert, but you will need to be motivated by our charitable purpose and able to inspire others to support safer, more inclusive and more enjoyable cycling for everyone.
