We're working with a leading global entertainment and consumer products business, seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their Franchise Management & Marketing team for an initial 12 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career, who is ready to build on their foundations and take on greater responsibility. Previous exposure to retail, entertainment, or consumer products would be beneficial to thrive in this environment. You'll join a collaborative EMEA team and play a hands-on role in bringing globally recognised entertainment franchises to life across the region. Working alongside international territory teams and global stakeholders, you'll gain experience across a wide variety of marketing activity - from franchise strategy and retail, to licensing, creative development, events, and consumer insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help keep EMEA marketing materials, including franchise presentations, toolkits and promotional content aligned with brand guidelines, accurate, and engaging
- Support high-profile industry events, including licensing summits, trade shows and key licensee and retailer meetings
- Coordinate the distribution of franchise and marketing content across the EMEA region
- Manage marketing submissions through internal systems, taking projects from brief through to completion
- Coordinate internal, external, and third-party approvals for marketing materials, working closely with teams including Legal, Brand Assurance and Talent
- Build strong relationships with licensee marketing contacts and become a trusted point of contact for the wider team
- Gathering industry and competitive trend information from sales, retail, category, creative, product development and insights teams, as well as external sources
Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role, or relevant internship experience
- Experience in retail, entertainment, consumer products, media or another fast-paced, consumer-focused environment would be a real advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues and external partners
- A genuine passion for brands, marketing and entertainment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities without losing sight of the detail
- A collaborative mindset, alongside the initiative and self-motivation to work independently
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Outlook/email
