Club Administrator - #2120732
Signature Recruitment
Are you an organised administrator who takes real pride in accuracy, professional standards and excellent service? Would you enjoy working in a traditional environment where courtesy, discretion and attention to detail genuinely matter? Signature Recruitment is recruiting a Club Administrator for a prestigious private members’ organisation in central London.
This permanent, office-based role is Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm, with a salary of £35,000–£40,000. You will join a small, close-knit team and provide administrative support across membership, events and the day-to-day running of the Club. The position also involves attending selected race meetings during the year.
The organisation has a long history and retains traditional standards of service, etiquette and correspondence alongside its digital systems. You will be comfortable respecting established procedures and clear reporting structures while building positive relationships with colleagues and members. In return, you can expect sociable working hours, lunch provided each day, a pension contribution and extended Club closures during August and over Christmas. Annual leave must be taken during the specified Club closure periods.
Club Administrator - Key Responsibilities:
- Manage membership records, enquiries, applications and member correspondence with a high level of accuracy
- Coordinate bookings and administration for Club lunches, dinners, talks and other member events
- Support annual race meetings, including ticket requests, badge allocations, correspondence and attendance records
- Draft and proofread letters, notices and documents, checking names, titles, dates and details carefully
- Liaise with Accounts and other departments regarding subscriptions, payments, Direct Debits and membership changes
- Maintain the membership database, spreadsheets, paper files and general office administration
Club Administrator - Key Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling names, titles and formal correspondence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a courteous and professional approach
- Confident organisation skills and the ability to manage several priorities accurately
- Good IT skills with a flexible, cooperative approach to both digital and traditional administrative processes
This Club Administrator opportunity would suit someone who appreciates a formal, established workplace and enjoys providing thoughtful, dependable support. You do not need to come from a private members’ club background. What matters is your judgement, accuracy and ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of people.
If you enjoy being the person who keeps the details organised and standards high, we would be delighted to hear from you. Apply today through Signature Recruitment.
