Hybrid working: 2 days in office

Building a corporate growth engine from scratch, with uncapped commission and a genuinely flexible structure around you, is exactly the kind of opportunity that disappears quickly. This is a newly created Event Business Development Manager role at a boutique agency with a long-serving, stable team and a real pipeline of corporate opportunities already forming.

- Uncapped commission, payment frequency open to discussion
- Bonus of up to £20k on qualified briefs received, not just wins
- Co-lead pitches with internal teams for real ownership and motivation
- Private healthcare via AXA after three-month probation
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure at no extra cost
- Hybrid working, with flexibility across the rest of the week

The Company
This is a creative B2B brand experience and events agency delivering full-service live, hybrid and virtual experiences across corporate and association sectors, including finance, pharma, automotive and tech. The team is boutique and long-serving, with most people having been there for many years and the agency known internally and externally for its supportive, people-first culture. The corporate side is the growth target, which is precisely why this Event Business Development Manager role has been created.

The Role
This is a newly created Event Business Development Manager role, built to establish a dedicated proactive new business function on the corporate side of a growing agency with an existing database, CRM infrastructure and internal creative and marketing support already in place.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted corporate sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through to close
- Secure meetings and briefings with senior decision-makers and budget holders
- Co-lead proposals and pitches in partnership with internal delivery teams
- Qualify opportunities against agreed revenue targets and business objectives
- Represent the agency externally, including through industry events and thought leadership
- Maintain and develop the CRM pipeline, tracking activity and reporting on progress

The Candidate
The right person for this Event Business Development Manager role has a track record in B2B business development, working consultatively to understand client challenges and converting opportunities across a full sales cycle. You are comfortable engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders, confident using CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage your pipeline, and motivated by ownership of the relationships you build.

A background in marketing or lead-generation agencies, corporate services or strategic B2B sectors is beneficial but not essential. Experience in thought leadership activity or CRM implementation is a bonus. What matters most is the drive to build something, a consultative instinct and the commercial ambition to grow with the role.

In return you will find uncapped commission with a negotiable payment structure, a bonus of up to £20k on qualified briefs, AXA private healthcare, 25 days holiday and genuine flexibility built into the working week. If the Event Business Development Manager opportunity reads like the right move, the time to act is now. Interviews are being scheduled and the role will not wait.
