My Client, a leading Advisory firm in London are looking to hire an Analyst for its Debt Advisory Team. The Debt Advisory Team provides unbiased, independent advice to its clients on capital structure solutions, either in healthy, stressed or distressed situations.

The team is responsible for:

• sourcing and executing financing deals

• advising clients on the arranging debt for event driven situations, acquisitions and refinancings

• advising clients on the arranging debt for stressed and distressed situations

• participating in complex negotiations on behalf of its clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Support execution of transactions in the Capital Advisory Group

• Produce complex financial models

• Undertake analysis of company operational and financial performance, capital structure, legal documentation and valuation

• Support in the drafting and preparation of deal materials

• Support in the drafting of marketing materials including pitch books and company research

• Produce briefing notes and research relating to organisations.

• Synthesise and interpret data, to present a complete picture of an organisation or sector.

• Keep the team informed of progress and activity

• Working alongside colleagues from M&A advisory teams

Requirements:

• Exemplary academic record

• Experience at either an investment bank, other advisory firm, banking institution or asset management fund, with some credit / leveraged finance experience

• Candidates with leveraged finance or debt advisory experience are preferred

• Strong quantitative skills including experience with financial models

• Demonstrates ability to synthesise and interpret data, and present it in a clear, concise and logical way

• Determined, hardworking, enthusiastic

• Strong commercial acumen and business awareness

• Responsive and responsible

• Committed to the firm, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

• Excellent communication, problem solving and presentation skills

• Good Excel, PowerPoint & Word skills

• Fluency in another European language would be an advantage
