My client, a busy and dynamic City-based media company, is looking for an Events & Networking Coordinator to join their fast-paced Events & Marketing team.

This is a varied role combining data management and analysis, email marketing and event coordination, so we're looking for someone who is highly organised, IT-savvy and particularly confident working with data and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, create, manipulate and utilise data to support marketing campaigns and events.
  • Work extensively with Excel and data, including filtering, sorting, organising and maintaining accurate datasets.
  • Use data pulls to create targeted marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Create and schedule marketing emails.
  • Develop and implement marketing copy and use audience data to target campaigns effectively.
  • Analyse campaign results and data to identify trends, measure performance and find optimum solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data is clean, relevant and up to date.
  • Book venues and coordinate catering and delegate requirements for roundtables, including small lunches and dinners.
  • Provide delegate support and coordination for conferences.
  • Order supplies and manage logistical requirements for events.
  • Coordinate AV requirements and book in-house photographers.
  • Set up event websites and assist with updating content for roundtables and conferences.
  • Attend and support all conferences and roundtable events.
About You

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with data and technology.

We're particularly interested in candidates who are comfortable using Excel to manipulate data, including filtering, sorting, organising and extracting information to support marketing activity.

You will also be:

  • Highly IT savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
  • A fast learner with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with data and large amounts of information.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable working independently.
  • Confident dealing with delegates, suppliers, venues and internal stakeholders.

Strong Excel skills are essential, with experience of manipulating, filtering, sorting and extracting data from large or complex datasets. Experience of MS Dynamics would be advantageous, alongside good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
