Job Title:Domestic Groundworker
Location:South London (Covering Wandsworth, Croydon, Bromley, Lambeth & Southwark)
Salary: £50,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are currently seeking an experienced Domestic Groundworker / Landscaper to join a well-established reactive maintenance team, carrying out external repairs, landscaping and general groundworks within occupied social housing properties across South London.

This is a mobile role covering Wandsworth, Croydon, Bromley, Lambeth and Southwark, so candidates must be comfortable travelling between properties throughout the working day.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in domestic groundworks and landscaping, with the ability to carry out a variety of external repairs and improvements to residential properties.

• Carrying out domestic groundworks, landscaping and external maintenance works.
• Completing repairs and reinstatement of pathways, paving, patios, slabs and concrete areas.
• Laying and repairing paving, slabs and other hard landscaping features.
• Carrying out fencing repairs and replacements.
• Completing drainage repairs and general external works.
• Preparing, levelling and reinstating ground areas following repairs.
• Completing minor brickwork, masonry and making-good works where required.
• Carrying out general garden and landscaping repairs.
• Diagnosing external issues and completing works efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
• Delivering excellent customer service when working around residents' homes and gardens.
• Managing your own workload and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
• Taking ownership of jobs from first visit through to completion.

• Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Have a good eye for detail and take pride in external and landscaping work.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Complete jobs right first time.
• Work professionally, safely and respectfully around residents' properties.
• Communicate effectively with tenants and office-based teams.

• Consistently achieve strong KPI performance, with a typical target of a minimum of 7 completed jobs per day.
• Maintain excellent quality inspection scores.
• Demonstrate outstanding reliability and timekeeping.
• Use PDA and mobile technology systems correctly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Take ownership and responsibility for all allocated jobs.

Applicants must have:

• Proven experience as a Domestic Groundworker, Landscaper or similar within reactive maintenance, property maintenance or social housing.
• Strong experience carrying out domestic external works including paving, slabs, patios, concrete repairs and fencing.
• Experience preparing, levelling and reinstating ground areas.
• Experience working within occupied residential properties.
• Basic experience with drainage and minor brickwork/masonry repairs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK manual driving licence (no automatic vans available).

• £50,000 basic salary.
