Chelsea, London | £30,000 | Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.00pm

We're recruiting for an experienced Porter to join the team at asmall building in SW3, Chelsea.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable, well-presented and proactive Porter who takes pride in their work and wants to become a valued member of the team.

Reporting directly to the Managing Agent, with occasional interaction with the Residents' Board, you'll play an important role in keeping the building clean, secure, organised and running smoothly.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building upkeep: Keep communal areas, corridors, entrances, lodge and pavement clean, tidy and well presented
• Resident support: Assist residents and lessees with day-to-day requests and deliver parcels promptly
• Security & safety: Monitor CCTV, maintain the daily log book and report any incidents or unusual activity
• Contractor management: Supervise tradespeople and contractors, including supporting deliveries and protecting communal areas
• Building operations: Coordinate day-to-day tasks with the Managing Agent and support general building maintenance and upkeep
• Communication: Communicate professionally with the Managing Agent, residents and Board members via email and in person

Basic handyman skills would be a bonus, but are not essential.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a similar Porter / Concierge / Residential Building role

• Well-presented and professional

• Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills

• IT literate and confident using email

• Proactive and able to work independently

• Comfortable dealing professionally with residents, contractors and managing agents

• Organised and able to prioritise day-to-day tasks

WHAT'S ON OFFER

• £30,000 salary

• Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.00pm
