A leading global investment firm is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join a technology team focused on delivering analytics and software solutions that support funding, financing, liquidity, and trading activities across multiple asset classes.

The Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and support of analytical tools and business-critical applications used by trading and financing teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing production-grade software applications and analytical platforms.
- Building data-driven tools that support financing, liquidity, and trading decisions.
- Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Integrating new datasets and developing capabilities to support forecasting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Enhancing existing systems through performance optimisation, architecture improvements, and increased scalability.
- Designing data models and application architectures that support enterprise-wide data integration.
- Developing solutions that leverage real-time data and advanced analytics technologies.
- Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Supporting continuous improvements in engineering standards, development practices, and technical architecture.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in software engineering, quantitative development, or financial technology environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of financial markets.
- Understanding of fixed income products and market structure.
- Experience developing and supporting production software systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Solid database experience including query optimisation, indexing, caching, and performance tuning.
- Experience delivering solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Quantitative analytics, modelling, or statistics.
- Cloud technologies including AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Real-time data processing and distributed systems.
- Financial data platforms and large-scale data environments.
- Modern software development tooling and automation frameworks.
- Treasury, financing, collateral, liquidity, or risk management platforms.
