Company Overview – Air Conditioning Engineer

Our client, a supportive and growing business, are currently looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time permanent basis.

Air Conditioning Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive callouts and repairs (pressure tests, compressor changes, fault finding, troubleshooting) – approx. 60% of role
• Complete servicing of splits, VRV/VRF, chillers – approx. 30% of role
• Undertake installations – approx. 10% of role
• Attend and resolve reactive callouts in a professional and timely manner
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
• Interpret schematics/technical drawings to support installation and repairs
• Keep accurate service and FGAS records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
• Support junior engineers/apprentices where required
• Contribute to the 1-in-8 weekend callout rota

Air Conditioning Engineer Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in A/C service & maintenance (Essential)
• F-Gas certified & Level 2 A/C & Refrigeration qualified (Essential)
• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• Strong problem-solving & fault-finding skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to high standards
