We're looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Teaching Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

You'll play a key role in developing new business, strengthening existing partnerships and delivering a high-quality recruitment service to schools and education professionals. Building relationships is at the heart of the role, so you'll spend your time speaking with clients and candidates, visiting schools and developing long-term partnerships.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant or a successful 360 Recruitment Consultant from another temporary recruitment sector who is looking to move into a more specialist and rewarding market.

At Prospero, we invest in our people. From day one, you'll have a personal development plan designed around your strengths, ambitions and career goals, giving you a clear pathway for progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with new and existing schools.
  • Visit schools to understand their recruitment requirements and demonstrate how Prospero can support them.
  • Identify, attract and engage high-quality Teachers, Teaching Assistants and education professionals.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns across job boards, social media and our website.
  • Conduct professional interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Match candidates to schools based on their skills, experience and suitability.
  • Manage and grow your own client and candidate pipeline.
  • Successfully fill supply and contract vacancies while delivering an outstanding level of service.
  • Drive repeat business and referrals through excellent relationship management.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, resilient and motivated by success. You'll ideally have:

  • A proven track record in recruitment or sales.
  • Experience working with recruitment compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of the education recruitment sector is desirable, but not essential.
  • The ability to manage high-volume workloads while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilience, ambition and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine desire to develop your career and take on greater responsibility.
The Prospero Personality

We're looking for people who are:

  • Ambitious and motivated by progression.
  • Competitive and driven to achieve results.
  • Confident, outgoing and commercially aware.
  • Proactive and hungry to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Resilient, goal-oriented and motivated by financial success.
  • Positive, professional and committed to delivering a great experience for clients and candidates.
What We Offer

We believe that when our people succeed, we succeed. That's why we offer a package designed to reward performance, support wellbeing and encourage long-term career development:

  • Competitive base salary + high-earning commission structure.
  • Up to 35 days' holiday.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 5-hour working days outside of term time.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Reduced gym membership.
  • Regular spot prizes and performance incentives.
  • Free daily fruit in the office.
  • End-of-term celebrations, awards and team events.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture where your development and progression are genuinely prioritised.
  • A clear personal development plan and opportunities for career progression.
