2nd Line IT Support - £36,000-£38,000 | Office Based (City)

Our client, a leading global architecture practice, is looking for a personable and proactive 2nd Line IT Support to join their close-knit internal IT team.

This role would suit someone with around 1.5 to 2 years' IT support experience who genuinely enjoys working with people as much as technology. Unlike many support roles, this is a highly visible, office-based position where you'll spend much of your day interacting with colleagues face-to-face, building relationships across the business, and becoming a trusted point of contact for IT support.

You'll be supporting a creative and professional user base, helping employees stay productive by providing a responsive, approachable, and customer-focused IT service.

What You'll Bring

• Around 1.5 to 2 years' experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or 2nd Line Support role
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both in person and over the phone
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience supporting Microsoft technologies and end-user devices
• A calm, professional approach when dealing with urgent issues
• Excellent communication skills and a relationship-focused mindset

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing hands-on IT support to employees across the business
• Building strong working relationships and becoming a trusted IT contact for end users
• Resolving technical issues through a mix of desk-side, face-to-face, and remote support
• Working closely with colleagues to understand their needs and deliver a high-quality support experience
• Assisting with the setup, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software
• Supporting office moves, onboarding activities, and technology rollouts
• Contributing to continuous improvements in the user experience and IT service delivery
• Maintaining accurate support records and sharing knowledge with the wider team

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of the business rather than hidden behind a helpdesk, combining strong technical skills with a people-first approach to support.

Location: City (Fully Office Based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 18:00

Contract: Permanent
