Business Management – Music, Film, TV & Sport Clients - #2136483

Job Purpose:

• This niche accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new Business Management Manager / Bookkeeping Manager, Senior Bookkeeper or Business Services Manager with at least 5 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm to join their busy and growing Bookkeeping and Business Management Department.
• They want someone who is tech savvy, who has experience of streamlining and automating accounting processes, is strong with Xero and is looking to utilise AI in their role.
• The aim is to provide first class Bookkeeping and VAT services to a wide range of very high profile clients from the Music, Sport, Film, TV, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
• You will also be expected to build very strong relationships with all your clients.
• Clients will vary and either be individuals, businesses, or business interests owned by HNWI’s.

Responsibilities:

• Your role will be varied and include managing your own portfolio of clients, and ensuring all clients are serviced to a very high standard.
• Streamlining and automating all processes possible to improve efficiency.
• Your role will mainly be hands on / processing based.
• The preparation of all bookkeeping assignments for the firms clients as well as processing all client VAT returns.
• The role could also include processing payrolls if you have payroll experience.
• In the future the role could include managing, training and reviewing the work of more junior staff members.
• Training and support will be provided where necessary.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years Bookkeeping and Vat return experience in an accountancy practice firm environment.
• Strong and up to date experience of VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Experience of Xero software package and Apps.
• Processing payrolls from start to finish is desirable but not essential.
• A desire to continue your Bookkeeping and VAT career in a niche accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London.
