Audit Senior - #2152942

Our client, a Top 40 UK accountancy and advisory firm supporting entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses, is looking for an Audit Senior to join their close-knit Assurance team in London.

This is a firm that's grown fast in a short space of time, expanding through a run of mergers and acquisitions and climbing into the UK's Top 40 accountancy firms as a result. It's backed by private investment and holds certified B Corp status, rare among accountancy firms of its size, alongside national industry awards recognising both its tax team and its record as an employer. For an Audit Senior, that mix of scale and recognition tends to mean wider client exposure and genuine progression, rather than a fixed, narrow remit.

• Managing the full audit lifecycle across a genuinely varied client base, from planning and risk assessment through to fieldwork, documentation and reporting
• Identifying and evaluating high-risk areas, designing appropriate audit procedures and clearly documenting findings
• Mentoring and coaching junior auditors, providing on-the-job guidance and supporting their progression
• Managing engagement budgets and time reporting, keeping jobs on track and on budget
• Building strong, lasting client relationships through professional, insightful communication
• Maintaining clear communication with managers, escalating issues and resolving complex matters collaboratively

• ACA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification (newly qualified or experienced)
• At least three years' UK audit experience with a reputable firm
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, UK GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience leading audits from planning through to completion
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a genuine interest in developing others
