Live-in Housekeeper - #2136576

Tiger Private is looking for an experienced and professional Live-in Housekeeper to join a beautiful private household in Haslemere, Surrey. Ideally, the successful candidate will also be a confident family cook, although strong housekeeping experience is the priority. The property is a substantial nine-bedroom residence; however, there are only three full-time occupants. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced private Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping and cleaning of the property to a consistently high standard
• Care and upkeep of bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
• Extensive hand washing and specialist care of fine and delicate garments
• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods for luxury fabrics, furnishings and finishes
• Changing and caring for bed linen and household linens
• Organisation of wardrobes, cupboards and household areas
• Keeping the home beautifully presented, organised and guest-ready
• Monitoring household supplies and replenishing as required
• Assisting with household errands and shopping
• Preparing simple, fresh family meals where required – a confident cook would be highly desirable
• Working efficiently and discreetly around the family
• Liaising with other household staff and external suppliers where necessary
• General ad hoc household duties as required

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper within a high-end private household is essential
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills, including experience caring for fine and delicate garments
• High standards of cleaning and strong attention to detail
• Confident family cooking skills would be a significant advantage
• Professional, discreet and trustworthy
• Highly organised and able to manage their own workload
• Flexible and happy to assist wherever required within the household
• Looking for a stable, long-term position
• Full driving licence essential
