Casual Temporary Back of House Staff - #2138692

We are currently recruiting for experienced Back of House staff to join our temporary staffing team, providing flexible work opportunities across a variety of restaurants, hotels, events, contract catering and hospitality venues.

We are looking for Kitchen Assistants, Kitchen Porters and Chefs of all levels, from entry-level kitchen staff through to experienced Commis Chefs, Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs.

This is a great opportunity for hospitality professionals looking for flexible temporary work, additional hours alongside existing employment, or regular casual shifts. Assignments can vary depending on client requirements, your experience, location and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and supporting kitchen operations
• Assisting chefs with food preparation and service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing and organising kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ensuring kitchen areas are clean, organised and well maintained
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Preparing and cooking food according to the required standards
• Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a wider kitchen team

About You

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment
• Experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Porter or Chef is welcomed
• Chefs of all levels are encouraged to apply
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and available for temporary/ad-hoc shifts
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
