This is a varied role combining administration, sales support, client communication, product specification and commercial coordination. You will work closely with both clients and suppliers, gaining valuable industry knowledge and developing your understanding of how commercial workplace projects are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing professional sales quotations, presentations and supporting documents using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the sales team.
  • Assisting with product specification, taking into consideration functionality, design, quality and budget.
  • Liaising with clients to respond to queries, provide product information and ensure requirements are understood.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of the company's suppliers, products and services to support effective product selection.
  • Assisting sales professionals with orders, proposals, presentations and project administration.
  • Coordinating information between clients, suppliers and the internal team to ensure projects progress smoothly.
  • Attending showroom and client visits, supporting the team with product selection and client requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring quotations, orders and client information are kept up to date.
  • Building positive and professional relationships with both clients and suppliers.
  • Taking ownership of administrative tasks and looking for ways to improve processes and support the wider team.
  • Supporting the team with general office and project administration as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in developing their career within a growing business.

You'll ideally have:

  • Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with clients and suppliers.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and get things done.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident and personable manner, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of products, suppliers and the commercial procurement process.
  • Previous experience within administration, sales support, customer service or a commercial environment would be beneficial, but attitude and potential are just as important.

Why Join?

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a close-knit, successful team where no two days are the same. You'll receive full training and support while gaining exposure to sales, client management, procurement, product specification and commercial projects.

As the business continues to grow, there will be plenty of opportunity to develop your skills, take on additional responsibility and progress your career within the company.

If you're an organised, enthusiastic and commercially minded individual looking for a role where you can learn, develop and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
