Commercial and Residential Surveyor

Location: London

Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 DOE

Our client, a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary property consultancy, is seeking an experienced Commercial and Residential Surveyor to join its growing Development Consultancy and Valuation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor with strong valuation experience and a passion for delivering expert advice across a varied property portfolio throughout London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake RICS Red Book valuations across commercial and residential assets.
• Carry out loan security valuations for lenders and financial institutions.
• Prepare development appraisals on sites with and without planning permission.
• Value development schemes, new-build properties and mixed-use projects.
• Conduct property inspections, market research and valuation reporting.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities.
• Liaise with legal advisers, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.

Requirements

• MRICS qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Strong loan security valuation experience.
• Proven background in commercial and residential valuations.
• Knowledge of development appraisals and development consultancy.
• Familiarity with lender panels and reporting requirements.
• Experience with Argus, Valos, KEL or similar valuation software desirable.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
