Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced Commercial Plumbers to work across a range of commercial buildings throughout London.
The role will involve planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, installations and repairs, including work within plant rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out commercial plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work
• Working within plant rooms across TfL stations and depots
• Installing, repairing and replacing commercial pipework systems
• Working on copper, steel, plastic and other commercial pipework
• Maintaining and repairing pumps, valves, expansion vessels and associated equipment
• Installing and replacing sanitaryware, taps, toilets, basins and drainage components
• Investigating leaks, blockages, pressure issues and system faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Performing basic fault finding on hot and cold-water systems
• Working on heating, water distribution and boosted water systems
• Reading drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Completing work to the required TfL and site safety standards
• Providing clear updates on completed work and any additional defects identified
• Keeping plant rooms and work areas clean, safe and organised
• Working closely with site supervisors, engineers and other trades
• Travelling between TfL stations and depots when required

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a commercial plumber
• Relevant plumbing qualifications
• Good knowledge of commercial hot and cold-water systems
• Ability to complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Comfortable working within operational stations, depots and public environments
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
