The Procurement Manager will oversee purchasing processes and supplier relationships to ensure the business operates efficiently and cost-effectively. Description

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering and contract management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Manage risks associated with supplier performance and supply chain disruptions.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within a relevant industry.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Job Offer

  • Starting salary of £47,000.
  • Permanent position based in London.
