Document Controller - #2142040
Build Force Talent UK Ltd
We’re looking for a Document Controller & Site Administratorto join a contractor based in London who specialises in super prime high end residential refurbishments to play a key role in keeping projects organised, efficient and moving forward.
This is much more than a traditional Document Controller role. We’re looking for a proactive doer and genuine all-rounder — someone who can take ownership, stay one step ahead, bring people together and make sure nothing gets held up unnecessarily.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of construction projects, with a particular focus on document control, site administration and procurement support.
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience.
LONDON BASED
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing project documentation and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
- Taking ownership of document control through Procore.
- Supporting and managing PQQ administration.
- Assisting with the buying and procurement of materials for construction sites.
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
- Keeping information flowing effectively between all parties.
- Supporting the wider team with general project and site administration.
- Identifying what needs doing and getting on with it — without needing to be constantly asked.
- Helping to keep projects organised, coordinated and moving to programme.
You’ll ideally have:
- At least 3 years’ construction experience – essential.
- Strong Procore experience – essential. You must be highly confident using Procore; candidates without previous Procore experience will not be considered.
- Ideally you will have experience working within the high end residential refurbishment sector.
- Experience with PQQ administration.
- Previous experience buying/procuring materials for construction sites.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership.
- The personality and ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
- A genuine team-player mentality — someone who can bring people together, solve problems and keep things moving.
Ultimately, we’re looking for someone who makes things happen.
You’ll be the kind of person who sees a problem and gets it sorted, keeps on top of the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture, and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support the team wherever needed.
If you’re an experienced construction Document Controller who also has a good understanding of site administration and procurement, and you’re looking for a role where you can really make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
