Operations Manager - #2147841

We are recruiting for an Operations Manager on behalf of a top Lloyd’s Syndicate.

The successful candidate will lead designated claims operations functions, delivering operational excellence, resource management and continuous improvement across claims processes. They will ensure high-quality service delivery, effective governance, accurate reporting and stakeholder engagement while supporting the wider claims strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining governance frameworks, controls and operating procedures.
• Maintaining oversight of claims operational audits, regulatory requirements and internal control activities
• Supporting delivery of SOX, internal audit, external audit and other governance obligations.
• Leading remediation activities arising from audits, reviews and control testing.
• Partnering with Claims leadership, Finance, Compliance and other stakeholders to support effective risk management.
• Overseeing the subrogation and recovery process, driving identification, referral and maximisation of recovery opportunities.
• Overseeing performance management of third-party suppliers and outsourced service providers.

Key Requirements

• Experience in claims optimisation and transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management at all levels.
• Understanding of business objectives and the market.
• Strong mathematical and statistical ability.
• Understanding of claims practices and procedures.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
