Lead Data Centre Commissioning Manager - #2148750

Role description

The role will be responsible for leading the Commissioning process from the project's commencement to its' close out.

Working with Stakeholders, General Contractors, Commissioning Agents and Architect/Engineering Consultants. The role will be to lead, coordinate, track and drive all these parties activities to deliver a well-managed and successful conclusion to the Commissioning Process.

Initially UK based but likely to move to site in around a year

Key Responsibilities

Lead all commissioning activities on site from planning through to project completion.
Develop, implement and manage the project commissioning plan.
Oversee and mentor commissioning engineers and other direct reports.
Manage the commissioning tagging process and ensure all procedures are followed.
Monitor and report commissioning progress to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Chair weekly commissioning meetings and coordinate daily commissioning activities.
Lead daily whiteboard meetings to drive progress and resolve commissioning issues.
Attend main contractor and client commissioning meetings, providing regular progress updates.
Work closely with project planners to develop and maintain the commissioning programme.
Ensure all commissioning personnel are accurately recorded on labour allocation trackers.
Requirements

Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years experience in a Commissioning Manager position on large-scale industrial, commercial or mission-critical projects.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and commissioning processes.
Knowledge of European standards, regulations and industry best practice.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel when required.
