An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading international law firm on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This high-profile role offers the chance to work closely with partners and senior stakeholders, driving business growth, strengthening client relationships and enhancing market presence across multiple practice areas.

The Role

You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic business development initiatives, leading major pitches and proposals, supporting key client programmes and delivering profile-raising campaigns that contribute to the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-value pitches, proposals and RFP submissions.
• Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Manage and develop key client relationships and account plans.
• Drive thought leadership, events, campaigns and profile-raising initiatives.
• Oversee directory and league table submissions, helping to maintain and improve market rankings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the business development team.

About You

• 7+ years' business development and marketing experience within professional services, ideally legal.
• Strong experience managing pitches, client programmes and strategic growth initiatives.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and project management abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach.
