Construction Manager – Commercial Office Fit-Out

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to take responsibility for the on-site delivery of commercial office fit-out projects across London.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is confident managing site teams, subcontractors and trades while ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day construction and fit-out activities on site.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with the agreed programme and construction sequence.
• Monitor quality, progress, health & safety and site standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and wider project team.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing and short-term planning.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and other project stakeholders when required.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting programme, quality or delivery.
• Ensure projects are handed over to the required standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager / Site Manager / Senior Site Manager within commercial office fit-out.
• Strong understanding of CAT A / CAT B fit-out.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong programme and site delivery knowledge.
• SMSTS and CSCS required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• London commercial fit-out experience highly desirable.
