 Role OverviewA long‑standing M&E maintenance company with over 35 years’ experience servicing commercial premises across central London is seeking an experienced multi‑skilled maintenance engineer to join their established team of 12. This is a stable, hands‑on role covering a balanced mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive callouts across a variety of commercial sites.

 Key Responsibilities

• PPM tasks across commercial buildings, ensuring compliance and smooth operation of building systems.
  
  
• Reactive callouts for general plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical and alarm systems.
  
  
• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of M&E equipment.
  
  
• Providing professional, customer‑focused service on client sites.
  
  
• Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure efficient coverage and high‑quality service delivery.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate job records and reporting through company systems.
  
  

 Candidate Profile

• Strong general M&E knowledge within commercial environments is essential.
  
  
• Comfortable working across multiple disciplines (plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical, alarms).
  
  
• Specific trade qualifications are not essential – capability, confidence and competence across general maintenance tasks are key.
  
  
• Professional, personable and able to represent the company positively on client sites.
  
  
• A reliable team player with good communication skills.
  
  
• Based within easy travel distance to London (typically 4 days per week in the city).
  
  
• Full UK driving licence required.
