Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

The Role

• Undertake geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slopes and earthworks
• Interpret ground investigation data and prepare technical reports
• Carry out geotechnical calculations and modelling
• Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
• Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• Attend site visits and provide construction support
• Work towards professional development and Chartership

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
• Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy/design environment
• Good understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical design principles
• Experience with relevant geotechnical design software
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Working towards Chartership or an interest in achieving it
• Full UK driving licence preferred
