Sales Development Representative - Festival of Creativity - #2152658

Handle Recruitment are seeking candidates who are passionate about events, marketing, advertising or other areas of media and creativity to join an international festival of creativity in the run up to the 2027 event. The festival is highly reputable and widely regarded in the advertising, brand marketing and creative communications world so this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain invaluable experience within the creative industries!

*This is a temporary contract role to start in January 2027 until May/June 2027. Pay is £14.80ph with hybrid working in London*

As the Sales Development Representative your responsibilities will include:

• Researching potential companies using tools like LinkedIn, company websites, and target sectors.
• Sending personalised emails and engaging with prospects on social media, with the goal of booking exploratory calls with customers.
• A combination of cold calls and following up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns or website inquiries.
• Supporting prospective customers with category suggestions and incoming queries.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of leads and opportunities in real time.
• Regular catch ups with Head of Awards Growth to align on strategy for customer interaction and to report on customer insights and feedback.
• Potential - On-site customer service for Award winning delegates and attendees of the awards ceremonies
• Potential - On-site logistics and events work for Awards related tasks

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Customer engagement experience in areas such as telemarketing, market research or client services
• A passion or active interest in creative areas such as marketing, advertising, media or events
• Availability to begin a temporary role in January and to work full-time hours, with the potential of travelling internationally in June
• Additional languages beneficial but not necessary
