Business Development Manager - Southern region
Our client is an award winning tour and cruise operator and they are seeking a Business Development Manager based in the South to build and maintain relationships with retail agent partners. The role is mainly on the road with one day per week from home and comes with a salary of up to £42,000 plus bonus and car allowance.

Business Development Manager responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail travel agent partners
• Identify new business opportunities and key growth markets
• Deliver product training through presentations, workshops and webinars
• Promote the full portfolio of premium travel products and experiences
• Attend trade shows, industry events and conferences
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends
• Drive passenger growth and achieve sales targets

Business Development Manager skills required:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within retail or wholesale travel
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Commercially minded with a proven track record of achieving targets
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Flexible to travel extensively, including overnight stays when required
