A leading investment bank is looking to hire a CEEMEA Rates Trader to join its London-based Emerging Markets trading team. The role will focus on pricing, risk management, and market-making across CEEMEA rates products, with exposure to local rates, government bonds, interest rate derivatives, and cross-market relative value opportunities.

• Manage risk and trading activities across CEEMEA rates markets.
• Trade local currency government bonds, interest rate swaps, NDF-linked rates products, and cross-currency swaps.
• Generate trading ideas and identify relative value opportunities across CEEMEA curves.
• Provide pricing and liquidity to institutional clients.
• Work closely with Sales, Research, and Structuring teams on client-driven opportunities.
• Monitor macroeconomic developments, central bank decisions, and geopolitical events across CEEMEA.
• Contribute to the growth of the franchise through risk-taking and revenue generation.

• 3-6 years of experience trading EM or CEEMEA rates products.
• Strong knowledge of at least oneCEEMEA region, including:
  • Central & Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania)
  • Turkey
  • South Africa
  • Middle East rates markets
• Experience with government bonds, IRS, cross-currency swaps, and other rates products.
• Demonstrated risk management and P&L responsibility.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
