Business Development Manager - #2153300

Lead business development and marketing initiatives for a market-leading Capital Markets & Finance practice within a global law firm. Partner with senior stakeholders to drive client growth, strengthen market profile, and deliver strategic pitches, campaigns, thought leadership, and key account initiatives across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development and go-to-market strategies for the Capital Markets & Finance practice.
• Lead high-value pitches, proposals, panel appointments, and client opportunities.
• Drive marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, and client engagement initiatives.
• Manage legal directory and award submissions to enhance market profile.
• Build strong relationships with partners and cross-functional global teams.
• Analyse market trends, client opportunities, and BD performance using CRM tools.
• Coach and mentor colleagues while promoting best practice across the BD function.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve business development efficiency and insight.

Requirements

• 5+ years' business development or marketing experience within a global professional services environment, ideally legal.
• Proven expertise in pitches, client development, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Commercial mindset with experience using CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
• Degree educated with excellent project management, coaching, and analytical skills.
