Head of Compliance - Basic to £130,000 + 15% KPI Bonus, Full Benefits, Flexi & Hybrid working.

A high quality and award winning B Corp and Chartered Financial Planning Practice is looking for a new Head of Compliance to join their business.

This is an exciting opportunity for either a current Compliance Head or a senior compliance professional, who is looking to move into the SMF16 (compliance oversight) & SMF17 (money laundering reporting officer) functions, to join this growing business.

The role will have overall responsibility for all compliance policies and controls across the organisation and will work closely with the Senior Management Team to help improve the business ensuring it fully complies with all statutory and regulatory obligations. The Head of Compliance will report directly to the CEO.

The successful individual will be comfortable holding SMF16 and SMF17 responsibilities and have Level 4 (Diploma) qualifications with a view to becoming Chartered.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must with good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong report writing skills with the ability to present information and recommendations in a clear and logical way.

Experience of conducting interviews/discussing issues with, and presenting findings to, senior management teams or executive boards.

Experience of the FCA’s RegData and Connect systems and strong understanding of FCA rules .
