H&S Manager - Data Centres - #2154153

An established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead HSE delivery on a major data centre project in Portugal.

The position will involve managing site health and safety across significant civil engineering and structural works, including groundworks, reinforced concrete, formwork and associated construction packages.

Responsibilities will include leading site HSE strategy, managing inspections and audits, reviewing RAMS and safe systems of work, overseeing subcontractor compliance, managing incident investigations, monitoring high-risk activities and working closely with project leadership to maintain strong safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked at H&S Manager or Senior H&S Advisor level within a groundworks, RC frame, formwork or heavy civils contractor. Data centre experience would be highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of excavations, concrete works, formwork, lifting operations, heavy plant and temporary works-related risks is particularly relevant to the position.
