Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant/ Finance Assistant

Location: Office-based in Farringdon

Hours: 3 days per week

Pay: £21.000 per annum ( £35.000 full time equivalent )

Overview:

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant/ Finance Assistant to support our Production Accountant and finance team. This is an office-based, part-time role ideal for someone with finance experience, preferably in a creative or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and code purchase invoices
• Support job setup and budget tracking
• Assist with WIP reviews and job closures
• Post journals, accruals, and manage petty cash
• Chase POs and resolve queries with production teams
• Maintain accurate finance records and documentation
• Help with VAT returns and audit prep

Requirements:

• Bookkeeping or finance assistant experience (essential)
• Good knowledge of AP, reconciliations, and job costing
• Confident using Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with Maconomy/WorkBook (desirable)
• Organised, proactive, and confident communicating with non-finance teams

Contract:

• Permanent - part-time (3 days/week)
• Office-based
