This is a high-impact strategic role at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Senior Leadership Team and Board to turn strategy into action, support effective decision-making and ensure organisational priorities are delivered.

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a trusted strategic partner to the Executive Director and Senior Team, bringing structure to complex issues, driving follow-through and taking ownership of priorities that span the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading organisational planning, leadership meetings, offsites and strategic reviews.
  • Supporting senior decision-making by framing key issues, options and recommendations.
  • Tracking decisions and actions to ensure priorities are delivered effectively.
  • Managing the day-to-day relationship with the Board, including Board papers, meetings, committees and governance.
  • Leading strategic and cross-organisational projects where additional leadership is required.
  • Supporting strategy development, scenario planning and organisational growth.
  • Identifying and resolving dependencies across teams, functions and countries.
  • Ensuring leadership priorities and decisions are communicated clearly across a distributed international organisation.
  • Providing interim leadership or supporting senior recruitment and onboarding where required.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in leadership roles with a track record of successfully supporting executive teams.
  • Strong strategic judgement and the ability to identify what matters most.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across different functions, cultures and time zones.
  • Experience working with a Board, including Board papers, committees and governance.
  • A track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
  • The confidence to constructively challenge senior colleagues and influence across an organisation.
  • A genuine commitment to the organisation's mission and achieving meaningful impact.
